UPCOMING SCHEDULE FOR APRIL 2009

On May 1, 2008, the European Ethnic Melodies Show and host, Daniel Jan, received an EXCEL Award on the campus of Binghamton University for "outstanding multi-cultural programming at WHRW-FM."

"In 2009, proudly celebrating over 21 years on the FM dial and the 11th year on the Internet at WHRW-FM."

All programs are broadcast on Tuesday evening from 7-10 P.M., locally at 90.5 on the FM dial and simulcast world-wide at www.whrwfm.org

The Upcoming Schedule for April 2009 is as follows: 

1...April 7, 2009....This special program commemorates the multi-ethnic celebration of Holy Week and Easter, according to the Gregorian Calendar; the celebration of the seven days of Passover according to the Jewish Calendar; the continued celebration of the Great Fast, according to the Julian or Orthodox Calendar, and the multi-ethnic music for the celebration of the  season of Spring.(*The April 2009 schedule may be modified due to un-anticipated pre-emptions, etc. beyond my control as of March 27,2009.)

2...April 14, 2009...This special program continues to commemorate the multi-ethnic post-Easter celebration according to the Gregorian Calendar; the continued celebration of Passover; the  celebration of Holy Week and Easter, according to the Julian or Orthodox Calendar, and the multi-ethnic music for the celebration of the season of Spring.(*The April 2009 schedule may be modified due to un-anticipated pre-emptions, etc. beyond my control as of March 27,2009.)

3...April 21, 2009...This program will  commemorate the post-Easter celebration according to the Julian or Orthodox Calendar  and the multi-ethnic music for the celebration of the season of Spring.(*The April 2009 schedule may be modified due to un-anticipated pre-emptions, etc. beyond my control as of March 27,2009.)

4...April 28, 2009..This program will continue with regular programming for the years 2009, including the multi-ethnic music for the celebration of the season of Spring.(*The April 2009 schedule may be modified due to un-anticipated pre-emptions, etc. beyond my control as of March 27,2009.)
