UPCOMING SCHEDULE FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH 2008
The upcoming schedule for the month of March 2008 is as follows. Please note that all programs are regularly scheduled Tuesday evenings from 7-10 P.M. unless otherwise posted. No pre-emptions are scheduled.
1...March 4(The Feast Day of St. Casimir)... Dynamic life-force multi-ethnic folk, world, nationality, and polka music for the celebration of the last few weeks of winter, preparations for the season of Spring(March 20th), music for the Lenten season(Gregorian calendar), and the preparations for Easter(March 23rd).
2...March 11... Continued programming with the addition of music for St. Patrick's and St. Joseph's Day on March 17th and March 19th respectively; music for the ending of the Season of Winter; music for the coming of the Season of Spring on March 20th; music for the Lenten season(Gregorian calendar)' and the preparations for Easter(March 23rd).
3...March 18...Music for the celebration of the Season of Spring; Holy Week preparation for the celebration of Easter. This simulcast program is a once-in-a-lifetime program(Part 1) due to the fact that the secular season of Spring is separated by only 3 days from the religious celebration of Easter , according to the Gregorian calendar. The next time the dates for Easter and Spring in the same chronological sequence will be in the year 2168 AD. That's 160 years from now- will you be alive to enjoy the next special celebration for Easter and the season of Spring????
4...March 25, 2008...Post-Easter celebrations and the continued celebration of the Season of Spring 2008 ...Dyngus Day, etc... And, please note that Once-in-a-lifetime special programs abound on the European Ethnic Melodies Show in the year 2008.(See previous posts about these special programs ...or.... you might want to listen to my show....so "you'll get to know what is good."(old Pennsylvania Deutsch[Dutch]saying)
