•On the European Ethnic Melodies Show, since September of 1988, for all 52 weeks of the year, and, including the Christmas season, you will NEVER, EVER have to ask for the name of the carol, hymn, or song for the celebration of the season of Advent, for Christmas, the New Year, and Epiphany of your Euro-Americn heritage. "There is ABSOLUTELY NO mystery Christmas season music played on the program."
•You will NEVER, EVER have to request that the song be translated into English or translated from the native European language.
•You will NEVER, EVER have to ask about the country of origin of the seasonal holiday or holy day song.
•You will NEVER, EVER have to ask about the name of the band, orchestra, chorus, choir, or vocalist who sang the seasonal song. THERE IS NO, REPEAT, THERE IS NO MYSTERY MUSIC for the Christmas season on the program.
•I WILL NEVER, EVER insult you or your cultural and religious heritage by not doing what is expected of a radio/Internet show host for this very special time and season of the year. You'll have to go to another part of the dial and seek the other "vanity-type Christmas programs to be insulted for the Christmas season-again." Why should this year and this holiday and holy day season, be any different from the last number of years??? " 'Nuff said."
Simply find the quality Christmas season music program for this very special time of the year that actually fulfills your ethnic and religious needs. It is true that old habits are difficult to change...

ONE SMALL BRIGHT RAY OF HOPE TO THE PARISHONERS OF ST. NICHOLAS GREEK ORTHDOX CHURCH AT GROUND ZERO FOR CHRISTMAS 2011 , ACCORDING TO THE ORTHODOX CALENDAR:
Since the fall of 2010, I continue to keep my local, national, and international audience current and aware of ANY and ALL changes with regard to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. I'm sure(I hope) that I'm NOT the only person speaking out on behalf of the St. Nicholas parishoners.
With regard to the buildings at GROUND ZERO in New York City, it is possible that my audience may have forgotten about a religious building in lower Manhattan which was also a victim of the Islamic terrorist attack on Tuesday, September 11, 2001.
For your memory, the name of the religious building is ST. NICHOLAS GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH, the ONLY religious house of worship destroyed when the World Trade Center Twin Towers fell on 9/11/01.
So, now, in the month of November 2011, 10 years after the national tragedy of 9/11/01 in which more people were killed in the attack on American soil than were killed at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, the question is... what's holding up the restoration and the re-construction of St. Nicholas Church?
After more than 10 years of litigation, paper shuffling, red tape, and the unbelievable blundering of bureaucracy at many levels, I would like to know WHY no one in the media is speaking out, or continues to speak out, on behalf of the religious rights, feelings, and sensitivities of all of the clergy and parishoners of St. Nicholas Church?
Truly, WHY do the media(newspapers, television, radio, and media personality-columnists) and the politicians continue to remain TOTALLY SILENT on the issues of religious rights and the freedoms which have been guaranteed to every citizen by our U. S. Constitution?
All I'm doing is reminding my audience of another aspect of the terrible national tragedy which was carried out, again, by the Islamic terrorists... on 9/11/01. During the past 45 years, you may recall many other Islamic terrorist attacks who killed thousands of innocent people when they blew up airplanes, U.S. Marine barracks, airport waiting rooms, cruise ships, attack on the the USS Cole, railroad stations, the Lockerbie, Scotland airline disaster, the Olympic athletes in Munich in 1972, etc., etc., and the list goes on and on...
So, in less than a month in December 2011 and early January 2012, as you enjoy and celebrate your family and religious ethnic traditions and customs for Christmas, please take a moment or two to think about what has been denied, AGAIN, to ALL of the clergy and parishoners of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church for the past 10 years. Again, No Christmas bells will ring out...
Ten years of bitter sadness and mourning will not stop... at Ground Zero...for the victims and parishoners (and U.S. citizens) of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
GOD BLESS AMERICA and GOD BLESS THE CLERGY AND PARISHONERS OF ST. NICHOLAS GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCH...AGAIN...FOR THE CELEBRATION OF THIS ORTHODOX CHRISTMAS SEASON!!!
ONE VERY SMALL RAY OF HOPE...
And, now as of November 12, 2011, here's some news to bring you up to date on the progress of the reconstruction of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church...
Ten years after tiny St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church was destroyed by falling rubble from the World Trade Center towers, church leaders reached an agreement Friday (Oct. 14) to rebuild at Ground Zero.
The church, founded by Greek immigrants in 1916, sat in the shadow of the twin towers and was the only religious building to be completely destroyed during the 9/11 attacks.
Under the agreement brokered by New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, the church agreed to drop a lawsuit filed in February against the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which controls rebuilding at Ground Zero.
The agreement marks a major win for the tiny church, which insisted on sticking to a preliminary agreement to exchange their original location at 155 Cedar Street -- now part of a vehicle security center -- for a larger piece of property at 130 Liberty Street.
The agreement allows the church to build a 4,100-square-foot church and interfaith bereavement center at 130 Liberty Street in exchange for dropping all litigation against city officials.
"With this agreement, we are continuing New York's collective healing, restoration, and resurgence," Cuomo said in a statement. "Now we are finally returning this treasured place of reflection to where it belongs."
